Our Story

Welcome to The Greyhound Inn, Chalfont St Peter’s premier pub and restaurant!

Situated in the heart of this charming Buckinghamshire village, The Greyhound Inn is a historic building with a rich heritage dating back to the 14th century.

Founded in 2000 by husband-and-wife team Hemu and Sandy, Rayners Lane’s renowned Club 2000 brought authentic, home-style Indian cuisine (with African and Indian roots) to North London. Still overseen by Sandy, the family prides itself on consistently excellent food and service. Their children have since expanded the business with restaurants, bars, and hotels in Wembley, Luton, Gerrards Cross, and beyond.
